Irish Sushi and Other Pre-4th of July Shenanigans

My weekdays are pretty boring, so I guess I shall bore you with telling work stories and the like. Today was a pretty standard day, had a sales meeting, did some data entry. All good stuff. They still haven't restocked our Halo Children fund candy basket thing, which we have taken to checking compulsively. 4 of my fellow interns and myself went to lunch at a Nepalese (I always thought it was Nepali, but the Irish have informed me otherwise, who knew?) place, where we got a ridiculous amount of food (3 courses) for 9.50€. So that was my day at work.

Just as Allison (another intern) and I were getting out of work at 4, it started to pour, despite it being nice for most of the morning. Irish weather, so silly. Anyways, the two of us walked to Henry Street from work to return something she had bought at Forever 21, where I proceeded to buy sandals so that I didn't have to wear my soaked fabric shoes anymore. We bummed around Jervis Shopping Centre for a little while, and when we were walking past Burger King, I saw that they were advertising Cheddar Cheese Bites (aka cheese curds). I am happy Wisconsin has made its way to Europe, and sure most of you can imagine my excitement when seeing this. Anyways, then we met up with my housemates for sushi on Dawson St. Ireland seems to be a little behind in the sushi department. The fish is delicious, not surprisingly, but the rice leaves much to be desired. A little disappointing.

But tomorrow, we are partying it up for the 4th of July. We don't get off work. :( But my housemates and I are going to Captain America, an American-style diner thing, which is supposedly pretty good, and then out to a bar later. So hopefully I will have more interesting things to tell you then.

However, until then, here is a ridiculous video to keep you entertained.

If you haven't seen Team America: World Police, you probably should.
